Paradise Road Open to Residents Only
Santa Barbara County - August 25th, 2016
The Rey Fire Unified Command in conjunction with California Highway Patrol and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office will be allowing people who live or work off of Paradise Road to return effective Thursday August 25, at 6 p.m.
The road will remain closed to the public, campers, and anyone not affiliated with the suppression actions, so that firefighting personnel and equipment are protected as they continue to utilize the road to access the fire. Law Enforcement will be checking ID’s so that only residents or employees will be allowed in.
All additional road closures, including East Camino Cielo as well as Painted Cave Road, are still in effect.
